Rabbi Yosef Cowen, Menahel Ruchani

Rabbi Yosef Cowen was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Eretz Yisroel in 1980. He learned in kollelim in Yerushalayim for 25 years during which time he was a longtime and close talmid of HaRav Moshe Aharon Shtern זצ”ל Mashgiach of Yeshivas Kamenitz and, in particular, HaRav Shimshon Pincus זצ”ל. He has taught in several seminaries in Yerushalayim and joined Maalot in 2015.

Mrs. Bonnie Hartman, Academic Coordinator

Mrs. B. Hartman lives in Yerushalayim and has been working in curriculum development and academic advisement for over 35 years.

Ms. Miriam Brunner, Kodesh Director

Ms. Brunner was raised in England where she attended Gateshead Teachers Training College. Ms. Brunner is a familiar figure to Shana Beis students, as she is a sought after speaker in many Shana Alef programs.

Mrs. Zilla Powitz, Eim Habayit

The students of Maalot are engaged in personal growth and are preparing for their future. Many are starting shidduchim. With her true Torah values, wisdom, and positive attitude to life, Mrs. Powitz guides the students through these various stages.
